From the study, it is clear that the results were valid and credible since all instructions were followed as recommended and considering all precautions which were to be put in place to make the whole process as a success. The study participants for the study were chosen depending on the infection the patients were ailing from. The study based its survey on any patient who had issues of CLABSI and had been admitted to the hospital in the period of time between July 2007 and June 2010. The data collected was ensured to, and dependable on that the CLABSI rates were being obtained directly from the CDC National Health and safety network was any deviation was corrected at the spot by the intravenous therapy management which conducted total surveillance to ensure that the data entered was right.

The results are believable for those who carried out the study are fully equipped with the necessary information and had all the required equipment for close checks hence the results tabled ought to be believed on. The study worked towards implementation of the set guidelines and the set strategies on how CLABSI rates can be put into control. The research has sought to use the quantitative research approach in this study since the data collected has been converted into numerical for analysis and calculations without much undo. The reason as to why the research has chosen to use the quantitative method is because all the data collected needs some numerical calculations which are made more accessible by using such a method.

The language and concepts used in this study are in line with the approach chosen for this study since the terms used in the study are all for the medical department and are expounded on very well to the level of understanding by those in the field. The language and concepts used in the study may seem hard and confusing for those who are not in the nursing profession, but the fact is that the approach and the languages are going hand in hand. The procedure used in data collection very clear for the information was gathered from the database of national health and safety network. This means that the information gathered can be depended on for the importance of giving out the best.

The sources of data for this study and all the means used in collecting the information are very explicit since the national health and safety database always provides the best and secure data without any confusion and therefore it can be depended on. In this study, the role of the researcher and the activities of the research are not fully explained as the researcher's activities are only discussed a little bit in the case of data collection and no more. The data analysis procedures are clearly described since descriptive statistics were used and later ANOVA method used in analyzing the data in details. From the above discussion, it is clear that a lot of improvement in the cases of CLABSI is needed to make the results from the study be more applicable in clinics and other medical facilities.
