Some of these reasons can be justified, whereas some of them are simply ridiculous and do not even deserve the slightest of consideration or justification. These reasons are often flashed out by these extremist groups in defense for their actions, which comes at the cost of loss of lives, property and the absence of peace and stability in communities and countries alike. These attacks by such groups often bring countries, and even parts of continents to their knees and render these places uninhabitable and unproductive. These two threats come in the name of Guerrilla warfare and terrorism. These two threats are often classified as among the main destabilizers of peace in countries and continents. An asymmetric warfare is a type of warfare that involves competition between opponents whose strengths are unequal.

Such warfare is often triggered by the party with the less strength, against the stronger party, which is mainly an organized country military. Guerilla warfare is also a type of irregular warfare. An irregular warfare is a type of warfare that does not only seek to defeat the opponent, but also to win popular support, including political influence. These gains are often to the enemy's cost. Terrorism gained mainstream popularity during the U. S Presidency of Ronald Reagan after the Beirut barracks bombings (Mendes, 2016). Contrary to terrorist teams, guerrillas typically add open positions as armed units, attempt to hold and seize land, don't refrain from fighting enemy social unit in battle and frequently apply pressure to regulate or dominate territory and population.

[3] whereas the first concern of guerrillas is enemy’s active military units, terrorists for the most part area unit involved with non-military agents and target largely civilians. Guerrilla forces in the main fight in accordance with the law of war during this sense, they respect the rights of innocent civilians by refraining from targeting them. This character of PKK is ample for outlining them as a terrorist organization. Terrorist teams with inadequate funds and human sources began to request support from the folks. Smaller forces leverage their war fighting capability's in unconventional ways that against alternative combatants, this being the key distinction that separates guerrillas (and typical forces for that matter) from terrorists and criminals. Guerrilla warfare is conducted by military or paramilitary forces or militias against a superior force with the aim of driving aforesaid force either into retreating or, if matters needs, bogging down that force therefore a traditional force is mobilized and dropped at bear. Targets chosen by these teams are going to be principally military, though' assassination of key and specific civilians isn't off the table. Terrorism, on the opposite hand, is that the direct and deliberate atta on civilian populations with the target of forcing capitulation by concern. A terrorist campaign seeks to maximize the deaths and maiming, whereas avoiding contact with opposing forces.
