This ensures both mental and psychological preparation. There are several ways aiding in developing learning ability. Pre-reading skills entail all the activities and steps required by a child to learn how to read. The steps include reading out loud to your kid, this is done frequently so that a child can master some words. It is essential in developing your kid’s fluency. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder which is a mental condition which is can affect individuals at their different stages of maturity. The causes of this condition are attributed to genetic factors where ADHD can be passed from parent to child, it is also associated with complications during pregnancy period whereby kids are born while underweight or prematurely, and those born when their mother had trouble during giving birth are more likely to suffer from this condition.

Pregnant mothers who abuse drugs such as alcohol or smoke also expose their unborn children to the risk of contracting this mental condition. ADHD affect kids in their early childhood education, it is believed that about four to five per cent of kids suffer from this mental condition. This is to say that at least one kid has this mental condition in a class of about thirty kids. When all these are known, the kid is then set for the test known as the annual physical exam that tests basics, here, the doctor will listen to a kid’s complaints and offer to counsel. After that, he will check a kid’s previous health conditions, or he can even decide to perform a brain scan.

Early childhood doctors can check a kid’s ADHD condition by following predetermined steps put forward by the American doctors known as the American Academy of Pediatrics ("Quick Stats: Percentage of Children and Adolescents Aged 5–17 Years with Diagnosed Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), * by Race and Hispanic Ethnicity — National Health Interview Survey, United States, 1997–2014," 2015, p. The procedures dictate that ADHD condition among children can only be diagnosed from the age of four to eighteen years, however, this signs must start to show up at least the age of twelve because it is hard to diagnose the condition of age less than five years due to the fact that at that age, the kid is growing very fast and it is hard to follow a particular trait for six or more months as they are changing rapidly.

Behaviour changes resembling ADHD may be because of changes in lifestyle. Kids classified as Hyperactive have extractive abilities portrayed in their unrest lessness. The Inattentive have no extractive abilities, their activities are normal to other kids of their age except that they are poor in concentrating. mostly, this kind is not easy to recognize and single them out from the rest. Then the last group is composed of both the impulsive and inattentive kids. Of the three types, this group is the most known type of ADHD, members here exhibit both Impulsive and Inattentive signs. This process is not difficult to understand and practice, the parent is able to do this even in the absence of the doctor. For positive results, the parent needs to take into consideration the following key issues to avoid confrontations and misunderstandings likely to arise between the parent and the kid: The parent must make sure that the kid has understood the rules clearly.

Rules should not be imposed on kids as they will appear unpleasant to the kid. The parent, for instance, needs to explain why it is important for the kid to do certain tasks before he leaves to school. The second thing is that the parent should give clear instructions, this can be achieved by first winning the attention of the child before stating what is required of the child (Harvard Medical School Commentaries on Health, 2014, p. This eventually leads them to develop bad attitudes against reading-This makes it even harder for such kids to learn reading skills, they end up being poor readers and poor concept under standers. However, efforts should be made to redeem such kids Although the process is tedious, but eventually the kids learns how to read and understand (McMurray, Fetherston, & Nilson, 2014, p.

ADHD condition on the other hand is manageable, it can lead to long-life effects if it is left untreated. These effects are manifested when affected kid starts to isolate himself from others. This may be attributed to the kid having a poor relationship with others. This is because if the kid is not fond of sharing out his mind, then it will be noticed when it is already late (Saul, 2014, p. The affect kids are also known to start physical confrontations whenever they feel disappointed or wronged by others. They find this the easiest way of resolving their problems since according to them no one is willing to listen or do as they desire. This trait is likely to be dragged all along into maturity.

Kids may grow into hot-tempered individuals who cannot relate well with other family members. It is important to understand the mental state of fellow colleagues to enable you to know how well you can handle the affected people both at work, home, or any other place. It also aids in explaining certain behaviour among children and teens because certain behaviour changes and traits can indicate that the child is affected and needs treatment. Determining this condition at an early stage ensures that a parent has enough time to prepare for medication and counselling programmes This helps the child to recover early from the condition early enough and thus offering him an opportunity to grow to an individual of sound mind in future.

This is worse because ADHD is spread widely among children neurobehavioral disorders. From the above arguments, it impacts negatively on children themselves and their future, and the people around them including parents and the whole community at large (Romadona, 2017, p. Questions concerning ADHD diagnosis and screening was chosen well to avoid ambiguity and gathering of irrelevant information in the study. The question too observed limits in exclusion and inclusion technique to avoid chances of touching individuals’ personal life. This ensured that the respondents felt free and welcoming for the study. Exclusion and inclusion techniques are defined by the following parameters’ definitions and elaborations of associated mental conditions, number of people including affected victims who underwent through the study, expected and unusual behavioral patterns including the results of the outcome, methods of ADHD diagnosis present including the results from each method, a comparison of the result obtained from each method and the expected results (Scassellati & Bonvicini, 2015, p.

The research is both qualitative and quantitative. Ignorance from parents, teachers and doctors about this mental condition is still witnessed and it is impairing the effective of diagnosing and treatment of ADHD in the community. There is need to have good methods of gathering information about ADHD and better ways of diagnosing the condition for better management of this epidemic. Also, cooperation between doctors, affected victims and their parents will help to effectively reduce the effects of this disorder both at individual level and at community levels. Encouraging pre-reading at early stages prepares a child’s mindset in welcoming future learning levels. It also has a positive impact on the overall performance of the kid both academically, socially and emotionally. Patient approach criteria was also determined after keen consultations and team discussions.

The team was able to identify the kind of patients to involve in the study. It also provided means of collecting comments from involved stakeholders such as the parents, patients, doctors, and the community at large. Systematic frame: Consultations from the research team ensured development of research questions. The relationship between research questions was also put into consideration. Questions concerning prereading development among infants was also put into consideration ("Introduction to MMRS Literature Reviews," n. d. , p. Information Extraction: This involved searching databases. However, only recent publications were preferred. Publications made in other languages apart from English were avoided (Kabiri, 2014, p. Conclusion. As a teacher, one need to understand that these children with this kind of disorder have different learning capabilities and therefore they should be given more attention.

I found out that many children struggle with the changes of ADHD daily which impacts on their ability to control impulses, organized thoughts and belongings, manage their time, as well as affecting their ways of managing relationships. These children have a difficulty in controlling their bodies yet students with such abnormalities experience difficulties while sitting in a classroom over a long period of time thus affecting their concentration (Kabiri, 2014, p.  A.  Simple low-cost games and activities for sensorimotor learning: A sourcebook of ideas for young children including those with autism, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other learning differences.
