It determines the prices to even those that do not buy from their stores. This just shows how the company has taken over the economy of America. Wal-Mart the leading corporations of the world are famous for its unique culture for continual improvement. In the vast American market, one out of three families in the country do their shopping at Wal-Mart. Walmart is not at all just the largest retail company in the whole country of American but it is also the largest company in the world ever since the first company was formed.

The culture of Wal-Mart Wal-Mart the leading corporations of the world are famous for its unique culture for continual improvement. The concept of partnership with employees and developing the values for suppliers and society helps this organization to provide a value for the society. Wal-Mart is a corporate giant provided a friendly place for consumers to purchase at the low price. (Rivoli, 2014) In most of America, Wal-Mart is just not avoidable. Wal-Mart emerged as a superstore in the community, where a person can find anything related to life. Grocery is the most important for common peoples. Due to comparatively less price most people want that Wal-Mart store close to their location so they can easily buy good and households. Some people or communities have to travel to access Wal-Mart.

Due to the traffic problems people have to face difficulties to reach Wal-Mart. The company has more than 5300 stores in the whole of American alone. This factor has made the company to become the fastest growing retrial chain. These so many stores are easily found as one walks across the streets of America. Some of the goodies brought about by Walmart and people that great you when you visit the stores have made resisting the stores become an impossibility. The impacts of Wal-Mart Company to the nearby retailers are diverse and that they have a massive to an extent of raising concern as to whether the retail shop will still be in operation in the near future. A study conducted by Ryerson University revealed that the opening of new outlets is generally an economic recession for the area.

Wal-Mart Company has occupied a wide market area which cannot be easily diverted by small retail shops. In metropolitan areas, a new Wal-Mart has recorded an increase of more than 56 million in local sales and more than 13 new local stores. in rural areas, in rural areas, the average commercial boost is approximately 74 million and 17 for local sale and new stores respectively. Every Wal-Mart is defined by unique character, personality and has a specific operation. The association of Wal-Mart in either the landscape, economy or the media is self-explanatory and evident to all individuals who appear to be surrounded by its services. We, therefore, have the impression, strong enough to enable us to judge the implication of Wal-Mart services to the society as a whole.

The fact that Wal-Mart is walloping in plain sight, for all of Wal-Mart powers, ubiquity, for all the ink and airtime devoted to talking about its company, it leaves us with the sagacity that we know what Wal-Mart has impacted to the economy and the nation as a whole. This effect has actually enabled us to understand the effects and impacts of Wal-Mart to the society. For example, in Inglewood, California the community leaders sought out to stop the plans for a new opening of a Wal-Mart in their town. Many people thru out the community found that would rather have good paying jobs instead of replacing those with low paying wages that Wal-Mart would introduce. The Los Angeles city council passed an emergency referendum announcing that before any discount stores could open their buildings, there would have to be a large scale investigation by planners on the effects of the community when the proposed business would be introduced.

This seemed to only stop them temporarily because Wal-Mart later took this case to the voting booth by gaining some nine thousand signatures. After the vote was taken to the community Wal-Mart lost to the voters by a margin of thirty percent. Wal-Mart’s health care plans are difficult to get accepted into and can take a month or even years depending on how much you work before someone can get accepted into. This plan that Wal-Mart has come up with keeps the average worker working without helping their families. We as Americans need to rally together and stop Wal-Mart from forcing its' workers into poverty or force us as the taxpayers to pick up what Wal-Mart won't provide for it employees.

(Fishman, 2014) All of these problems that I have gone over in this paper about Wal-Mart are part of the reasons why Wal-Mart has made such a negative effect on our economy. We need to stop letting Wal-Mart hurt the individual workers and help the American people get back on their feet and start to grow like we should as one of the greatest countries in the world. 68 per hour which then translates to a figure of about 17500 per year. This is without removing the tax away from it. If the worker is the breadwinner and the sole provider of the spouse and children then this means that the worker is leaving in a hard time. This figure opposed to other retailers who offer a figure of about $1 per hour.

Out of the total number of employees that Wal-Mart has two-thirds of the total number are women and yet they are discriminated against and this is a point where the company insists that training and promotion are equal to everyone. It is also true that out of the store management only10 percent are women. According to an internal audit done by the firm in the year 2004, Wal-Mart Company usually paid less to women store managers as compared to men store managers who occupied the same position as them. The same year a federal judge from San Francisco gave a class action status to a sex discrimination lawsuit against Wal-Mart. This case involved 1. (Mooney, Knox, & Schacht, 2009) Their report showed that there were about 250 illegal immigrants involved in this.

The case was then that Wal-Mart used to hire unqualified and undocumented contractors from countries such as Mexico, Africa, Eastern Europe and many other countries. So many immigrants want a job and a good pay and Wal-Mart takes advantage of this situation. Though as they do this they do not pay these immigrants well. (Rivoli, 2014)Then the question is whether Wal-Mart is good for these immigrants or not. , 2011) The company should raise the number of wages to the workers, it should also enhance healthcare programs for its workers. (Fishman, 2014) This will help increase the living standards of the workers. The company still has a lot to prove and do in order for it to reach a resolution on the ongoing complaints and the wars.
