The patients were not satisfied with the way they are paid their overtime allowances and the management did not embrace change that could motivate them. The employees at this unit were not entirely demotivated, they preferred to work in the hospital than any other place although they had some complains. The hospital offers them enough time to rest and permissions to attend to pressing personal issues. The hospital had a perfect working environment for them motivating them to offer great services to the patients. Employees in this unit are given a personal space and recreational facilities to help them refresh their minds or rest as they change shifts. The management also does not like change because many issues raised concern change that could have happened a long time ago, but it did not.

For example, their allowances are low maybe because they were never raised over the years simply because the management does not entertain change (Danish & Usman, 2010). Some employees who were used as the sample population of these study were afraid of commenting about what demotivates them because they though that the information they were to offer will not be confidential and might be used by the management to criticize them. This shows that there is a bad relation between the management and the hospital employees because they are afraid to ask for what will motivate them making them serve the patients well. There is need for continued work in the hospital because no employee commented positively about the management. , & Usman, A.
