There are also are some global events which are caused by natural occurrences and disasters such as drought, tsunamis, and floods. One of the global events that had massive impacts on the society and the world at large is the Indian Ocean Earthquake and Tsunami of 26th December 2004. This was one of the most serious natural disasters that had enormous effects on the people and the world at large. This study, therefore, aims at discussing the health ratification issues that were carried by this issue and the emergency response of various organizations to this problem. The Indian Ocean Earthquake and Tsunami of 2004 was one of the world’s worst disaster. They are the people who can help in giving an immediate response to the people affected by the disastrous global events.

The local community is always the first people who can make arrangements and start helping the people affected by the global issue. They start the emergency response system that can help to help the people who are affected in the disaster (Whittalker, 2015) The help that they can provide is always the first hand, and although the locals lack any basic training on the emergency response, they still offer the most fundamental help. On the other hand, national organizations can help in the development of the most appropriate mechanism of giving the community help against the occurrence of any disaster. National governments are usually tasked with offering any emergence repose system, and they have training and also resources that can help in case of any natural calamity.

This is also the same case with the social class of the people. In most cases, people who hold the higher social class in the society do not take part in the emergence repose process during the emergence of any global event. The richer persons in the community usually fail to take part in the actual process but usually do so indirectly. In this case, they may offer monetary support or material support to help in the emergency response process (Clark, 2015). Men also usually take part in the emergency response during the occurrence of the global event. The altruistic organizations provide extensive healthcare service to the people in such organizations (Achora & Kamanyora, 2016). The Red Cross is one of the international organizations that are very important in helping people in cases if the occurrence of various global events.

Nurses often man these organizations. Nurses are key people in such organizations, and they help in delivering the mandate of the organization to the people. This group is designed to help the people affected by a various problem during the occurrence of global events. The nurse can go beyond their call of duty and do more than what is required of them during the issues such as an earthquake, tsunamis among others. The role of nurses will lead to minimal fatalities and will save more lives that could have otherwise been lost (Hammad & Fronta, 2016).
