The family, community, environment and media significantly affect how social functions are taught to us. The advantages of understanding social roles are that they develop the children niche and interaction with the surrounding. They also bond children with the society in which they live. Gender roles enhance the child's communication with others and also is necessary for the formation of a holistic person that can be able to take care of themselves. However, not all children take up their gender roles; some are mixed-up while in confusion hence adjusting to all traits. The dynamics expressed by the family members are reflected in their children. The father moulds the son to have masculine characteristics such as confidence while the female learns feminine techniques like caring and forgiving (Warin et al. The interaction among family members is a reflection of how the children behave while in the family. The male takes technical tasks while the female children take up the responsibility that involves taking care of the kitchen and the family. The family is designed such that the father plays little house roles bit the mother does all the roles of the house. The daughter will automatically align with the tasks the mother does and the son will take exactly after the father. They will have some activities in the garden while the mother and the daughter are busy with the house chores.

In conclusion, the expectation that the family have for their children is responsible for developing gender roles. This can be a better explanation as to the reason for mixing young boys and girls during the learning session. The play patterns and the groups are also a learning avenue for gender roles. The boys at these ages have different playgroups that they form them naturally the boys play games that are rough as a football while the girls tend to play soft games such as hide and seeks. As children grow up, they take different roles that are associated with gender. in the process of establishing the niche in school the part and genders continue to diverge. The divergence may extend to the same gender. For instance, some male student may be more famous than others because of merit performance, maybe in sports or academics. Boy's popularity starts early with them showing more social skills than the girls. The girls will seem to visit the fellow girls less frequently than the boys do (Lindsey and Linda, 199). Any gender is expected to behave in a particular way by the society in which they live. The children born to a social practice different passage of life and practices certain activities that prepare them for the future. The communities are referred to gender stereotypic because of the expectation that they put in society for them to accomplish.
