Management and Leadership essay
For instance, an organization that receives such claims and persistent allegations and tactfully deals with these problems is most likely to gradually fight against the scourge. The organization, after receiving these complains, must first analyze the cause of the action of both parties and investigate before jumping into any conclusions which might later on render it as biased. It being that there exists no solid reason for any person at all to be racial biased; an investigation must be carried out to render a proper verdict that is acceptable by both parties. If, for instance, the organization rules in favor of one side without listening to the second party, the people in the losing party might think that the society itself is against them hence leading to more chaos.
Being a leader can be hectic. Neill Franklin admits that though he is a black police officer working for the Baltimore Police Department and Maryland State Police, he hosted a strong bias against black people especially young men. He always thought that a young black man walking with sagged pants was in some way associated with drugs (L. German np). Policing and racial bias in the U. S go hand in hand as police are constantly told to patrol areas that are poverty ridden and filled with black people. Or maybe he was wrong; the cop might have decided that the world was better off with one less black criminal. To bring about racial balance and a peace loving community, a working organization must be able to separate the chaff from the good grain.
