The aspect of mass incarceration in the United States had been in most cases racial and therefore many people of color are racially eliminated from their communities to serve wrong sentences in prison. Economic segregation had been high in America, and many people of color who are poor have been victims of inappropriate incarceration especially significant mass imprisonments that reigned in the 1980s. Black lives matter movement had been used in black America to call for the liberation of the black communities to end racism and mass incarceration. Effects of Mass Incarceration Mass incarceration in Black America had increased the rate of poverty among people of color who have the central target of the police because they are believed to be criminals.

The incident has created churning in the population an aspect that had been called coercive mobility. The main reason for the mass incarceration of the blacks according to the Pennsylvania State University research in 2011 is the fact that blacks have been approximated to be eleven times likely to kill someone and commit acts of robbery as compared to the white population (Schnittker et al. This implies that the aspect of racial discrepancies associated with the convictions, therefore, takes a small portion in the United States. The mass incarceration had also been contributed by an increased rate of crime among the black, Hispanic and white communities in America. The violent rate among these communities doubled in the nineteen sixty and hence contributing to a tripling nature of incarceration to address the challenge.

The structure of the family according to researchers as opposed to race could be used for predicting behavior among criminals. The creation of this movement and its co-groups had helped in ousting corrupt primary prosecutors in the system and made police officers who shoot intentionally to the black communities to be accountable for their high profile murders. The black students in American campuses had also used the movement to stop the aspect of racism among the school authorities such as in the case when the Missouri campus leader resigned due to inability to adequately address racism in the institution. Furthermore, the movement had been vital in ensuring that the Democrats restructured national platforms and hence leading to the election of black people who also represent their colleagues as prosecutors, attorneys, police, and judges, therefore, creating a form of neutrality to the American criminal justice.

Black lives matter organization had also been vital in revealing the corruption acts of American police officers across Chicago, Baltimore, Cleveland, and Ferguson to help in decreasing wrongful convictions among the black people. An increased aspect of mediated mobilization in the organization had been technical due to the use of social media tools in creating unity. According to history, the lives of the black people did not matter, and hence the system worked to oppress and harass them. Uniting the Quakers and the black communities to address the issue of mass incarceration openly and racism had been the prime aim of members of the Black Lives Matter who made it successful through holding some conferences. Friends General Conference is one that had been used to address how to terminate the issues of mass incarceration in 2014.

Therefore, BLM had been holding major conferences used to discuss all Americans the importance of fighting racism and ending mass incarceration. The lectures taught people to develop love and other learning conditions that are used in the creation of change. The black organization had been calling for the liberation of their communities especially where race is the cause of imprisonment. Ending the New Jim Crow laws will help to neutralize the functioning of the American criminal justice (Alexander, Michelle, 7)6. Historically, America had been a white society and BLM will help to reveal the importance of ending racism and working together as one people. BLM will also help to address the challenges by the black communities after innocent deaths of their loved ones.
