ii) The Role of Robotics The use of robotics in wine production has had a great impact on logistics and supply chain. The robotics used in the industrial manufacturing of wines has been designed with more intelligence capacity to revolutionise wine production. iii) Logistics Efficiency The manufacturers have identified that an efficient method of keeping tubs with other manufacturers is by simply investing in logistics. b) Effects of Climate change on Wine Production The production of wine in Argentina forms a vital part of the vibrant culture of the country. The western region, Mendoza, is arguably the most influential in both domestic and wine production. This is as a result of prolonged hot spells which is a disadvantage to the necessary conditions required for growing of grapes. This is despite the fact that some grapes do well in hot temperatures.

It is important to note that individual varieties of wine grapes posses narrow climate ranges. This is perceived as a factor that limits further the suitable areas for cultivating these types of grapes. c) Future Prospects for Mendoza Wine Region The Mendoza region is the oldest in growing Argentina’s best grape type, that is, the Malbec. ii) Putting away the Industry Image of Dirty Factories Traditionally, manufacturing industries have been perceived as dirty places with disorganisation. However, the application of technology has changed the perception. This is evident through the application of robotics in the production process as well as the use of 3d printing (Goldner, & Zamora, 2007). The Mendoza Argentina wine region has already adopted the use of technology by incorporating robotics in wine production process. Future plans of fully eradicating the ideology of manufacturing industries as dirty places by the Mendoza wines is underway.

d) Varieties and Sources of grape variety being grown Argentina is the 9th wine producer and 5th wine exporter in the world, it has showcased a variety of grapes. i) Bornada- it is a red grape variety with its origin in Bordeaux region. It is one of the prevailing grape varieties in Argentina. It is lighter and fruitier as compared to other varieties. ii) Cabernet Sauvignon- it originated from Medoc. On the other hand, those grown in hot climate tend to produce bolder and bigger wines with higher alcohol. There is a great deal when it comes to the type of soils and quality of wines. The white grapes that are grown in shale type soil tend to be rich in minerals. The Argentinean soil is basically well adapted to growing of grapes as it consists of sand, schist, granite and alluvial deposits.
