The war led to the deaths of several innocent souls. The world history was written around this period, that is, between 1939 and 1945. The globe was wrapped in an appalling battle that not only saw millions of people die but also properties worth billions destroyed. While the wounds of the World War II may not be fresh, they haven’t fully healed. To commemorate the unfortunate happenings of the war, lots of materials containing information about it have been conserved. Later, the war was between the initial military alliances of the World War I. “The former military alliances were the Allied powers and the Axis. ”2 Millions of people were involved. The casualties of the war were many; the soldiers and the innocent were greatly affected.

Injuries and deaths that were recorded during this war were high. Diplomats and peace-loving countries and individuals tried their best to engage in treaties with their enemies to stop the invasion and the atrocity, which bore no fruits. The campaigns to end the war were intensified between in 1939 and 1941 but neither of the conflicting nations was willing to put an end to the war. The attempts to engage in treaties failed terribly since some nations were unhappy with the terms that were offered for ending the war. There were also some long-term causes of World War II. For instance, “The 1919 Versailles Treaty, which made German furious. The furious France, Britain and its Commonwealth partner declared war on Germany. As much as they had the will to assist Poland, they provided limited military support.

However, the Poland western allies commenced the naval blockade of Germany. The naval blockade was meant to weaken Germany’s economic superiority and weaken its war effort. Unwavering Germany fought back by challenging the western allies. Italy was under the reign of Benito Mussolini who was more of a dictator. Tyrants of the then resolved to violent methods of acting on the conflicts that existed between them and their enemies. They were so esteemed and used force and brutality to get what they wanted. In the course of this war, nations that had common interest formed alliances; one such alliance was the Axis Alliance. The Axis Alliance brought together Germany, Japan, and Italy. S concentrated on helping China and the Western Allies that were under the wrath of Axis Alliance.

The fall of Germany Germany managed to capture the port of France in 1940. This stalled movement of goods and people who would have provided assistance for France. As a result, the US increased its naval prowess in the region to mitigate against the atrocious acts of Germany. The US acted against the wishes of its citizens who were demanding the withdrawal of the military forces from the war. The Soviet troops came to the aid of the Yugoslavian by initiating an attack on the German troops. The later was left with no choice but to recede. The employment of Guerilla warfare techniques by Josip Tito reduced Germany’s chances of invasion. In 1945, the Soviets, British, and the Americans troops decided to work together to reduce the chances of Germany rising again after the successful suppression.

The troops in Poland were suppressed with the help of Soviets and Poland’s troops. The downfall of Japan was instigated by its trading partners, like the US renouncing their trading treaties. This resulted in the supply of gasoline for Japan being cut off. Gasoline was crucial for the territorial expansion activities of Japan. 8 More sanctions and bans followed leading to an economic crisis. The subjected economic pressure was so intense that Japan’s conquest power was slowed. This angered Britain and the US thus leading to a declaration of war on Japan. Enemies of Japan, such as Britain, China, and the US joined hands in suppressing it. The Axis Powers joined hands with Japan and declared war on the US Naval.

The Us succeeded in countering most of Japan’s attacks. The attack on Japan intensified in 1945. The World War II ended in 1945. To prevent the occurrence of another war, maintain world peace and effect harmonious coexistence between nations, the United Nations (UN) was formed. Conclusion The repercussions of the second world war were massive deaths and the destruction of properties worth billions.
