This is good but the company should be banned because the products produced by the company have a serious health problem to people. Introduction Monsanto Company was founded in 1901 by John F. Queeny. The company is multinational and started as a chemical company. The company was manufacturing products like PCBs, and Agent Orange. "We help farmers grow yield sustainably so they can be successful, produce healthier foods, better animal feeds, and more fiber, while also reducing agriculture's impact on our environment. " This is according to the Monsanto goals. The company argues that their products are safe for use, the company's is sustainable and minimizes the environmental impacts.

The genetically modified organisms are the plants whose DNA sequence has been altered because of the introduction of DNA of other organisms such as plants, bacteria, or animals. The modification of plants through GMO was majorly done to increase plant resistance to pests, or harsh conditions and production. The spending by the company creates a gap in the market because there is lack of companies that are willing to invest in genetic seed production. Generally, the company investments prevent other companies to get into the market. Competition is also eliminated in the international business. A good market has competition, competitive market will ensure that each member in the market produces quality products and satisfy customers' needs. When an uncompetitive market is created by the Monsanto Company, the company will be controlling the whole market and can even produce products of low standards.

The products distributed by Monsanto are patented such that farmers suffer because of the patents. Monsanto has set aside an amount of about 10 million dollars to hire experts to investigate the violation of the patent rights. Many farmers are persecuted because there is no any physical difference between genetically modified seeds or the organic products. Monsanto is taking advantage of the farmers through exploiting farmers through paying fines and signing a contract with Monsanto Company in order to destroy their old farms. Monsanto does not help the farmers in any way because they are the ones who introduce unfair practices against the farmers only to get money and power in return. The positive effects of the Monsanto Company will create awareness on how the company can help improve the lives of people in every part of the society.

The Canadian industry and international business are considered important because of the efforts that were made by the Monsanto Company. Monsanto Company affects the Canadian industry and international business through creating lack of trust by the farmers and consumers. The Monsanto Company has received many criticisms from people over the past. The criticisms made of the products of the company create a bad image of other industries that deal with agricultural genetic engineering in every part of the world. For example, in 2002, Zambia was affected by famine and people denied food donations because they feared that the donation was of genetically modified seeds. The company interferes with the Canadian industry and international business as their products have environmental risk which threatens the life of people and plants.

Literature Review The company was founded in 1901 as a chemical company. The products produced by then were majorly food additives such as caffeine, and saccharin. Monsanto merged with Graesser's chemical works in Wales. The genetically modified seed possesses environmental risk. The government will ban the use of the products of biotech industries such as Monsanto Company. Even though the product of the genetically modified seeds are important in increasing the production of crop yields and increased the resistance of the crop to diseases, the effects of these products are adverse and they should be abandoned in the world. The patent right owned by the company also destroys many farming families because the company destroys the farm. Furthermore, lack of trust is developed by many people about genetically modified seeds; the seeds are believed to cause environmental problems.

Over time, the products that were sold by the Monsanto Company were continuously banned. For example, Agent Orange was banned. Therefore, whenever the genetically manufactured seeds are even banned in Canada all over the world, the company will look for a way forward and change their products so as to be competitive in the market. The company is making a lot of profits in the business market and probability of it being closed is low. The Monsanto Company makes huge amount of profits in the business market through the amount sales on its products. This reduces sales causing huge loses to the company.
