During the period United States military had invaded the country and aimed at using force in establishing democracy in Iraq. In the film, Laura follows up on the complexities that the United States military and the Iraq rebels had caused while trying to outdo each other in the rampage against each other. The documentary is filled with daily chaos and noises forged from the flying helicopters’, gunshots and bombings that tore in the streets of the country. On a daily basis, there are reports of suicide bombings on every channel in the country’s media as well as newspapers. As the citizens flock to their respective voter registration posts they are filled with fear and at the same time hopeful of a better country with the introduction of democracy.
