This company does not only deal with bottled water but also with other types of products like food stuffs including other liquid beverages like milk. This paper focuses on the production of bottled water and how the company engages in social responsibilities among other ethical practices. The business of bottled water carried out by Nestle Company was seen to dominate even in the whole world. For this kind of business, ethical practices should also be put in to consideration for the success of any business, otherwise the business will face criticisms from the society who are mainly the consumers and thus the business can even fail. Because of these criticisms, Nestle Company turned out to be a hated company (Ferrier, 2016). This action implies that there is a very great loss of lives of people because water is life.

Therefore, restrictions could have worked to save these people’s lives. Part 2: Ethical problem identification Nestle company has always tried to ensure their customers that their product was the best so as to win their trust. It has also put efforts in ensuring that it is socially responsible in avoiding pollution of environment and also adhering to rules, policies and regulations o have their product responsibly advertised and in an honest manner. However, Nestle has faced some ethical problems that have caused dishonesty and scenarios that are unlawful. Decisions made by a company may affect many groups of people because they are stakeholders. In these three unethical challenges faced by Nestle, the Pakistan people or families are the stakeholder group as they were affected by scarcity of water, overpriced bottled water and sicknesses all caused by Nestle Company (Rosemann, 2017).

Part 3: Nestle 2012 evaluation In a global environment 2012, Nestle Company had shown some of the efforts in social responsibility as it provided clean and safe water for drinking to those in the society. In summary Nestle is not badly rated in terms of being socially responsible despite the ethical challenges it faced. Nestle had acquired two facilities for filtering water and this is so much related to social responsibility because they know that water could save people’s life because it was clean and safe. Nestle has continued innovation of facilities to ensure that they do not cause scarcity of water anymore and also continuously take care of the environment. The other progress to be evaluated on Nestle in 206-2018 was the provision of bottled water to those needy people who could not afford bottled water.

Nestle therefore took the initiative of supplying these families with bottled water. The other strategy was to offer employment opportunities to people which is another way of being socially responsible which also improves on the revenues of the company from bottled water since after employment people will have the ability to purchase bottled water. All these actions addressed the ethical challenges they had faced as criticism from people and therefore in the report of 2016 to 2018, Nestle had shown some improvements from the evaluation, in their social responsibility.
