Opioid crises as a community healthcare policy concern

The magnitude of opioid abuse has greatly influenced the United State workforce thus influencing the employees of the HR policy member companies. The epidemic has increased the rate of newborn incidences with withdrawal syndrome of drug overuse as a result of drug misuse during pregnancy. Combating opioid abuse requires the HR policy association to compile insights from the members of the association while referring to the policies and strategies that address opioid crises (Arizona Department of Health Services, 2017). The healthcare policies require clinical owners to be physically present in the clinic for about a third of the hours of operation to review the patients’ file for close monitoring of drug prescriptions.

The qualification verification and appropriate licensing of the clinical employees need to be critically reviewed and managed by the clinical owners.
