Relationship between identity and language

There is a resilient relation between identity and language. However, the latter is also an aspect of culture making all the three elements; culture, language, and identity to have a strong relationship. Relationship between identity and language There is a strong relationship between these elements because of an interconnection between representation where language plays a vital role and culture which is the basis of identity1. Culture is a group of shared symbolisms and is presented using language. Therefore, people with a common culture are likely to have a common language which may differ based on the environmental provisions and factors such as identity2. Without language, then people would not even realize their identity nor distinguish it from those of others. On the other hand, identity gave rise to the difference in languages.
