The study relies purely on qualitative methods, which involves critical analysis of the available documented information about every style discussed in here. After investing several leadership styles throughout the study, a relevant conclusion concerning the management style of choice is arrived at. As it appears, the democratic style is quite applicable for all times. It is very useful for long time effects since it encourages inclusiveness and cooperation among all members, within the leadership and subordinate circles. Other styles like the Authoritative proof to be useful for some instances and at different stages of growth. Since it has already been asserted that the leadership style impacts on the employees’ performance, which in turn affects the output, this study will focus on investigating certain leadership styles and their impacts on performance, each as independent variable.

The effectiveness of a style is to be proved by its efficacy in producing desired results (Bratton & Gold, 2017). Theoretically, it has been proposed that here is a dependency relationship between employees’ performance and the proper match of the leaders’ and the employees’ input. This includes factors like the leadership style, employees’ competence, etc. and the performance is contingent of the said factors or relationship (Miner 2015). Management style is the attitude and or behavior of a manager as he disseminates hue or her managerial tasks. Discussion and description of selected management styles Affiliative management style This type is management is the type where the leader seeks to boost cooperation among the employees by solving their disputes and differences. He helps them in forming a team and emphasizes on team work.

It has been observed that this style promotes harmony and connection among the team members and is thus good for promoting team spirit (Igbal et al 2015). This makes it very suitable for growing organization, where team work is essential or the members need to be trained on importance of team work. This is not good at all for growing the employees’ management skills and also decision making techniques since it lacks involvement. With time, it is harmful to the organization since there is apparent lack of coordination between the leader(s) and the subordinates. This can spell doom for the organization (Zamani et al 2017). Coaching management Style This is the style where the leader mentors the subordinates to build a team.

He or she makes the decision solely but with feedback from the subordinates, and guides them on various things to nurture their skills and enhance their personal growth professionally (Klingner et al 2015). Everyone is given an opportunity to air their opinions, which are put into consideration by the leader. This means that the leader or manager has a wide base of information to help in decision making. This is a very huge advantage over other styles.
