However, it involves using wireless media and emails. Organizations and institutions use e marketing to connect to their clients across the globe. Most firms optimize their businesses using digital marketing. The past present and future of e marketing is evolving according to the technological changes being experienced. JetBlue airways is an organization that acquired success through E marketing. Poor marketing skills and heavy consumption of fuel since the heavier the plane the more fuel consumption influenced this. JetBlue changed their marketing strategies and reduced the number of seats, which made the plane lighter. The present electronic marketing strategies provide a clear illustration of the reason a combination of numbers is not considered an equal of a bigger numbers. This means that use of many advertising platforms does not guarantee the success of an organization.
In the present day, advertising has become one of the most paying jobs or investments. YouTube was also a developing social media platform. The recorded vide was uploaded on YouTube and almost all the clients were able to access it. Due to the technological changes being experienced by different countries across the world, JetBlue still went out of their way to ensure that their clients received the apologies since getting them in person would have been a struggle. The marketing move hit the headlines since clients had never experienced such apologies and willingness to take responsibility of their actions. In fact, during this time most organizations would lame poor technology for the delay. Organizations currently have more than enough content to market their services and products digitally. The only challenge is the delivery system since some counties or regions are still experiencing technological advances.
The move by JetBlue was successful since the organization belong to a first world country. Almost half of the people in third world countries are still learning how to use electronic gadgets. This means that internet will be fully assimilated in such countries in a decade or some years to come. Online content will no longer be overloaded since client will have access to the information faster. Better and more reliable web applications will be developed. Generally, e marketing in future will be the best way to display and sell products and services globally. Chapter 2: Strategic E Marketing and performance Metrics Strategic e marketing is a practice employed by firms, organizations and institutions to share information with a purpose (Pamela, 2016). For instance, strategy means having a purpose to share certain information with people.
JetBlue’s mission is to ensure that their clients receive low discounts and ensure effective movement of people to different places. While the organization was experiencing tough times and losses their potential competitors were out making money and trying to overthrow them. Marketing personnel’s within the organization spent time looking for strategies that would help the organization regain stability and deliver the best services to their clients. In 2007, social media would not be viewed as a marketing platform. Most people joined social media for the primary purpose of meeting new people and being social. New clients would also view their ratings and reviews provided by other clients. Currently people prefer working with organizations that have good reviews from their clients. Performance metrics allow organizations to monitor the effectiveness of their e marketing strategies.
