Rawlings I am writing to apply for the Ms. Occupational Therapy graduate program, in your institution. Since childhood, I have always had a great desire to help others, especially the less fortunate. This motive inspired me to pursue my first degree from the Institute for Physically Handicapped in New Delhi, India. Over this period, I garnered tremendous experience in physical therapy where I was able to handle various patients with geriatric, prenatal/postnatal, paraplegic, and hemiplegic physical therapy. The working experience with the Indo-American Centre was a great experience that enabled me to have an in-depth understanding of various cultures and ethnicity. In India, I was able to recognize and navigate critical sociological and cultural barriers to therapy, chiefly based on beliefs and traditional herbs.

My experience in physical therapy was expounded at Michigan State, where I worked as an assistant physical therapist. It was there that I developed compassion and sensitivity virtues through my daily interactions with the patients and my co-workers. Interactions with them included developing a close relationship, which involved calming their fears and exercise. This passion drove me towards working voluntarily in charitable activities. Through co-operation, I have been able to develop a cordial relationship with my clients. Honesty and sincerity are the fundamental principles that guide me to give my best to work. My career requires a dynamic approach to hard work and personality, all of which are the virtues that I hold. My ultimate goal is to become a licensed occupational therapist, which will enable me to serve the less fortunate in India.
