These men were in their thirties, and they were dully given the role in executing some missions because they were too old for the army. The development of the Men Reserve Police Batallion 101 was also aimed at neutralizing and dealing with any threat to their existence in Poland. These soldiers were also dully armed with the sophisticated weaponry of that time comprising of heavy machine guns and other arms of mass destruction. In June 1942, this battalion was one of the most ruthless and most profound Germany armed forces operating in Poland. This study aims to access the men of Reserve Police Battalion 101 and its subsequent role in the Holocaust. In this case, they were the people who acted as the guards in the Jewish incarceration camps. The same was also witnessed through the role that the battalion played during the forceful transfer of the Jewish prisoners from the incarceration camps to other parts of Poland as a way of protecting their superior German tribe from any erosion from the Jewish weaker and inferior tribe.

The nature of the police battalion, in this case, was tasked with the ruthless expansion of the Germans and the Nazis in general in Poland. The work of the Battalion was to ensure that all the Jewish were incarcerated in one point and some camos to ensure that their freedoms of movement was curtailed and also to ensure that they were fully banished from the society (Browning, 1992). The Battalion also received direct orders from the Nazi leadership, and they were supposed to adhere and follow these orders without any questions. The battalion, due to the nature of their world was responsible for more than three million deaths of the Jewish both directly and indirectly. The development of this scenario greatly affected and contributed to more deaths than any other battalion working on the Nazis soil (Browning, 1992).

However, in as much as the men of the reserve battalion 101 were working under the development and the provisions of the orders that they were given by the Nazi regime, it is important to note that the soldiers ought to have worked under rage morality rule. The soldier's work against the tenets of morals in any way. Many of the deaths that the Jewish realized under this regime and the members of the battalion were primarily due to torture and another mistreatment that these people were meted on them. Rape cases were also rampant, and this goes against the moral obligations of society. The battalion, therefore, is mainly responsible for the moral obligations that they failed to adhere to and apply during this time. It shows the failure of the police to be morally responsible and coherent with the fundamental human rights (Browning, 1992).

The members of the battalion also were unethical in their dealings. Various unethical processes and developments can be retraced to the members of the battalion themselves. The constitution is supreme, and the American police fully understand their responsibilities and such occurrences cannit happen within the United States. Generally, Jewish holocaust is one of the darkest historical moments in American history. It is one of the developments that fully changed the history of the world. The role that the police played during this time has mainly been criticized and has dramatically affected the outcome of the whole procedure. It is important to note that as much as the police and the soldiers follow orders, they should also apply their conscience on various issues in society.
