The SQ3R Study Method

3R- Read, Recite and Review Read A common lay man’s saying says that when we read we should read in between the lines. At this stage, the reader will try to find the answers to the problems that he has just formulated in the questioning stage above; One will try to find the solutions to the questions that are at the beginning of a chapter, they will read and then analyze the captions at the bottom of pictures, charts and graphs, they will also study graphics and their aids, then they will reread and try to unravel ambiguity at some parts. Recite At this stage, one has jotted and underlined the very important parts of a text. What follows then is an activity that will help the reader remember them.
