We teach English, Mathematics, and mostly sciences throughout the nation, but in the real sense budget run across, where the curriculum should focus on arts, physical education, and foreign languages. For this matter Ravitch's argument is controversial, abandoning two choices given in the non-suitable terms. The teacher, for example, is left to endorse the problem of developing national set standards that are way too far from solving other problems such as race, class, and gender. For this reason, I would dismiss the scripted curriculum which allows either little or no room for imagination as well as creativity. Through competition by the top students in most of our district schools and also targeting those parents who possess the motivation in getting more options that suit their children.

For that matter Ravitch went ahead to lay down history on how the nation had moved to a high-stakes in evaluating the state of education, making arrangements through a strong critic basing on how the country lost control over the democratic function of public education, and also how important a strong curriculum contributes to the success of the nation as a whole. She gives a rather controversial case accusing the public over the slow degradation of the public education cutting across her nation. Specifically the democratic voices of parents and guardians as well as communities are less considered at the same time districts and philanthropies continue pushing for a greater test scores without being considerate on other factors that matter which in my own view as a teacher is very wrong action arising from a following a curriculum which is not suitable and hence does not display any form of equity.

The federal education legislation, in particular states, that no child should be left behind. Ravitch argues that the high scores in tests turn everything to be originating from the classroom to the humiliation of the students. Conversely, on progressive education, he argues that it takes uncharged approach without actually the importance of freedom when it comes to education. Freedom for the sake of freedom is a philosophy with less impact on education. Dewey suggests that we have a duty in ensuring that for us to go beyond the downfalls we probably need experience which is true. Educators should be at the forefront in understanding the nature of human experience. Dewey's theory claims that experience comes from the interaction between two principles that is; continuity and interaction.

This ‘functionalist' regarded schools as means through which students get hold of the social traits, virtues as well as the skills needed in order to succeed and give back to the society pg. The hidden curriculum is explored basically through the social belief and moral behavior that is spread through socialization means that comes up with confirmation of the classroom social relationships. This approach can be arguably correct in the fact that schools should play a big role in ensuring that students possess the desired traits. Liberal perspective The Liberal Perspective regards the hidden curriculum from a different point of view as compared to the functionalists. It vies the hidden curriculum as those that are not put into serious consideration as well as practices experienced in school life would again be acted by different characters within the school context that is the teachers and students.
