Thermal conductivity of multiple materials

1031725 Wood 0. 0529025 From the experiment, the likely error that would have caused the measured value of k to be too high is L2 this because real thermal conductivities in the directions are associated with a proportionate factor only. Another error likely to have caused the measured value of k to be too low is L1 as difference in values occurred due to human error and apparatus error. The best conductor in this experiment is sheetrock. As Q is directly, proportional to the ΔThot and ΔThot in the heated and the cooled sections due to which temperature falls in heated section and in the cooled section at the same heat flow that means heater voltage and heater current remains constant. This was because of the experimental error of this experiment.
