Introduction Walgreens Boots Alliance is the first of its kind to be a pharmacy-led, health and wellbeing conglomerate. Its mission is to promote a healthy and happy lifestyle worldwide. After buying all the remaining shares, Walgreen was able to merge with companies such as retail pharmacy international (Boots), Retail Pharmacy USA (Walgreens), incorporating Alliance Healthcare, and Pharmaceutical Wholesale. The newly established organization has over the years been able to develop ready markets in over 25 countries worldwide.

Initially, Alliance Boots Company was able to operate on an international level whereas Walgreens had limited its various operations within the United States and its neighboring territories. Pharmaceutical Wholesale This division forms the largest division in the overall Walgreens Boots Alliance Pharmaceutical organization. In the UK, the division can make up to 16,000 deliveries each day. Retail Pharmacy USA This division is mainly operated by Walgreens and Duane Reade organizations making it one of the leading pharmaceutical retailers around the world. The companies are involved in the sale of non-prescription and prescription drugs, cosmetics among other personal care goods to willing consumers in the United States. The organization also allows the consumers to gain access to consumer goods, wellness and health services, photo studio as well as consumer products and services.

By the year 2015, the organization as able to establish over 8,230 drugstores countrywide. Additionally, the management of the company has introduced the sale of its products through online means. The company, as well as the companies it has investments with, spans throughout over 25 countries. Walgreens Boots Alliance has more than 400,000 workers. With 13,200 stores in 11 countries, it continues to be one of the largest global leaders in pharmacy retail. In analyzing this company, it can be done qualitatively and quantitatively (Earle 34). Walgreens Boots Alliance has been conducting forums with stakeholders to get their concerns met. One of the most common brands produced by the company include No 7, FCUK, Kangol, Botanic, and Soltan. The organization has major manufacturing outlets located in France, UK, and Germany.
