Personal Beliefs and Reflections The integrity and reliability of the scripture are pretty much unquestionable because of the different ways the Lord manifests himself to the human race. Through his revelation to the people, the truthfulness of the scripture is understood because the wisdom that he provides people with helps them see evidence in the real-life that makes it tough to disbelief the contents if the Bible. The scripture, which was all brought to existence by God, is suitable for offering teachings, reproof, training, and for correction in the Christian world (2 Timothy 3:16). God, the Holy Trinity An expression of the Beliefs of Evangelical Christianity Christians believe that God exists in three forms, famously known as the Trinity. Evangelical Christianity has proved this on several occasions from the biblical point of view.
Humanity and Sin An expression of the Beliefs of Evangelical Christianity Evangelical Christianity is enshrined in the belief that man was created in the image of God. The human race represents the living thing that God created and liked the work He had done. Evangelism has often spread the word that people should not cover their heads because they represent the image and glory of God (1 Corinthians 11:7). The evangelical Christianity stipulates that the original sin was committed by Adam and Eve when they ate the forbidden fruit that God instructed them not to. This led to their eyes opening thereby making them realize that they were naked (Genesis 3:5-7). For example, he walked on water and this proves that he is divine because normal human beings cannot do this (Mathew 14:22-33).
Personal Beliefs and Reflections In my opinion, I believe that Jesus is the form of God that He used to ascend to earth and carry out His mission of saving the world from sin. This is because of the existence of the Holy Trinity (2 Corinthians 13:14). He is the other form of God that He used to communicate to Christians at the time Christ came on earth in the form of a human being. God needed someone of the kind of human race so that they would believe in Him with ease. His death and resurrection also form part of the Christian gospel and what is enshrined in the Bible. Soteriology An expression of the Beliefs of Evangelical Christianity Evangelical Christians believe that the grace of the Lord is a justification of those who have fallen short of His glory and have sinned.
Jesus Christ, therefore, was brought to earth to redeem such people (Romans 3:23-24). It was God’s will that the human race is saved from sin and this was better done through believing in the truth and the work of sanctification by the Spirit (2 Thessalonians 2:13). Christians believe that glorifying the Lord is a means to say thank you to Him for the mercy He shown the human race by presenting them with a new hope through being born again after Jesus resurrected (1 Peter 1:3-5). Personal Beliefs and Reflections The role of the church, I believe, is to look into all the angles of life of the believers. In as much as it provides the spiritual nourishment that is much-needed, it also takes care of the communities in which it is serving.
Jesus, on many occasions, looked after the needs of the people during His ministry before spreading the word of God to them. A good example is when He fed five thousand people. Eschatology An expression of the Beliefs of Evangelical Christianity The evangelical Christians believe that there is going to be life after death.
