We live in a nation where the majority of the decisions are made entirely by the people who live there, which is one of the finest things about it. In this writing, we're going to highlight the characteristics of an American. The American Dream What makes an American? The American Dream is one of the things that make an American. Another wonderful aspect of being an American is the opportunity to pursue one's own version of the American dream. The American dream is defined as the belief that anybody with the right amount of grit and determination can attain any level of financial success. Another issue is that blacks have a disproportionately large presence in our jail systems. According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, almost 50% of those incarcerated are members of minorities.

The fact that this number exists alone demonstrates that the American ideal is still far from where it should be. At the moment, not everyone has the same chance to realize their version of the American Dream. Equal Opportunities If you ask me what makes someone American, one of my first answers will be equal opportunities. We've strayed from the values established by our forefathers and have become more individualistic and selfish as a result of this. Everybody is created equal, and America has to go back to that principle once again. Idealism It implies believing in a common and uniting vision of democracy that is acted out on a daily basis in a specific location named the United States of America if you call yourself an American.

Seeing and trusting in the notion that everything is achievable in America because the possibility exists regardless of your background, color, or ancestor's place of origin is what it means to be an American. Most have bought into an ideology that underpins our country's founding on July 4, 1776, and that is why we pursue the promised rights, fairness, and freedom professed to the world. Sacrifices and Service American citizenship is being willing to give up part of myself to better my wife, my home, my community, my town, and my nation. In addition, I'm not simply talking about stocking up on weapons to defend our wonderful country in the event that things go wrong. Being an American, as a country of immigrants, involves not only being able to comprehend and benefit from each other but also being able to welcome, care for, and relieve the suffering of those in our immediate vicinity.
