Statistics show that approximately 63% of mothers in America are in the labor force. Consequently, it has not been possible for them to personally see to the well-being of their infants. Concerns have been raised based on the none-maternal care that a child is given during his first two years after bat. In addition, other issues have arisen concerning the language development, cognitive development, peer including several other issues. Today, almost every citizen of America has accepted the fact that not every person can be able to personally take care of their own children. There will be room’s age appropriate for each group and activities to accommodate. These activities will meet the social and cognitive needs of the children of the future.

Psychological development It is crucial to understand how children grow either physically, intellectually, or even emotionally. Physical growth involves the eye-hand coordination, movement skills, gross motor skills and fine motor skills. For the social skills, children start developing relationships, caring for others, being self-reliance, they learn social skills and finally they also gain control over their emotions and self-confidence as well. In this particular process, the babies gain control of their heads during the first two years after they have been born. Later they gain control of their arms within the next few months. Later they can use their legs to crawl or make any other necessary movements within the 12 months after they have been born. In different levels of childhood development, the caregivers are performed different asks with the children including playing games when necessary.

You will find the caretakers playing peek-a-poo and having the children engaged in age-appropriate sing-a-long songs. Furthermore, the schemata of a child are said to be at equilibrium when the child can explain the things that he or she can perceive in an environment. Piaget emphasized the cruciality of schemas in cognitive growth and described the process through which they were gained or acquired. A schema can be well-defined as a set of related mental images of the world, which we use both to comprehend and to retort to conditions. The postulation is that we stockpile these cerebral representations and apply them when desired. They contribute mainly to what we all know as thinking and reasoning in general. For the social skills, children start developing relationships, caring for others, being self-reliance, they learn social skills and finally they also gain control over their emotions and self-confidence as well.

Intellectually, children grow when they start reasoning, they think logically, they also understand information as well as questioning the things that happen in their surroundings. The more children gain the ability to deal with the complexity of life the more they can earn more new knowledge and learn more new skills. Parents and guardians have the responsibility to boost all the sections of development involved in children’s lives. For instance, intellectual growth requires the adults to tell children about the things that have happened in the past to help their children start reasoning effectively. Also, there are those children who are disabled in some aspects these children may be physically handicapped or otherwise. the difficulties that they undergo in their growth period also need to be put into consideration.
