However, in the recent past the trends have been changing and business are run per the customer’s requirements. Therefore, taking into consideration the requirements of the customers will go a long way in ensuring customer loyalty since satisfied customers lead to success in any organization. The establishment of ComfWear will go a long way in providing customers with comfortable athletic shoes. Report Analysis Mission Statement ComfWear’s mission is to provide Kansas and the entire world with quality and comfortable shoes customized to meet the different requirements in terms of size and shape and satisfy the customer needs. Figure 1: ComfWear SWOT Analysis Detailed Description of Product Our company is focused on providing comfortable and durable shoes.
Comfortable shoes have a unique character whereby their soles are made out of rubber. Rubber is known for its ability to last longer than other material such as leather and it is flexible thus providing the much needed comfort in the footwear. ComfWear will sell a variety of specialty shoes mostly focusing on the sportswear. The major design will be celebrity motivated and therefore this brand will make up to 60% of our inventory (Warrillow, 2017). With the advantage of dominating the market we will be able to make some accurate forecast based on the population and aggressive campaigns to win the customer base. From the opening year, we are expecting our revenues to increase by double digits as we expand our market and increase the range of products we provide. We will work with just-in-time model of production thus our orders will come early and the clients will have two weeks after which they will come to fit and collect their products.
Celebrity advertising will be our competitive strategy since it has proved successful for companies like Nike, Adidas and other leading brands. For the purposes of our market we will consider the sales and forecast of Nike to be able to determine where our market stands (4-Traders). According to the resident a shoes that fits one person will not fit anyone else and this shoes a large gap that has not been covered. Therefore locating the company in Kansas gives us the highest possibility of expanding rapidly within a short period. Manufacturing Our products will go through either a single or double process of manufacturing. The first process involves the machinery where the drawn design of the shoes is obtained by blending the raw material. If the owners want simple shoes then the process of manufacturing their goods ends her.
Just-in-Time (JIT) To maintain the inventory of our company, we have decided to use the JIT model as our production model. The company will take orders form the clients and work on them within a period of two weeks for basic designs and four months for those designs that require the client’s specifications to be made (Jorge, 2014). Our company will therefore maintain minimum material hence minimizing wastes especially the time when the demands for shoes are low. Miscellaneous Our company accepts the fact that there are clients who want the story of their shoes. Once the design is drawn and the shoes manufactured, they are packaged together with the plan and set to the author who will write the story and send the three items back.
