This is hunger network comprising of various partners from the greater Cleveland. How Various Community Needs Are Met by the Agencies Mentioned Above The needs of the Lakewood community are met by various agencies cutting across the entire lifespan. Nutritional needs among the children are common especially among families living below the poverty line given the fact that about 15% of the residents fall into this category. This need, however, is met by LCSC in collaboration by MHTSS. These agencies strive to offer the healthiest food possible to every beneficiary every month. The agency enjoys support from the united way of Cleveland and its agents are able to visit the Food Bank in the designated marketplace at least three times every week with an aim of securing over 1000 pounds of the fresh food produce weekly.

The stable patients are taken through educative sessions to help them minimize on environmental triggers or exacerbating factors (Taubman, 2017). Homelessness is a key challenge to some elderly residents especially those living below the poverty line. This need has been met by Cuyahoga homeless service. The agency is an intensive network which carries out planning, organization and delivering of housing units and services with an aim of preventing or assisting the homeless individuals, this could be temporary as they transit to a more stable shelter. Therefore, the agency prevents homelessness, offers emergency shelters and provide re-entry programs. The community also receives the residential care especially for the elderly. Among these health facilities are several walk-in clinics that include minute clinics known as CVS pharmacy/minute clinics this means patents can receive fill in for their prescriptions for those with chronic conditions.

The university hospital centers this do offer varied services including emergency care to the community around including surgery services. The UH also partners with St. John medical center and MacDonald Women’s Hospital to serve a wide area in both in-patients well as outpatient services. The patients are however taken care of by several communities based agencies that run community-based psychiatric care that is supportive and entails individual and group counseling which can go along with pharmacological management of the condition or referral to the relevant centers. This ensures the psychiatric patients' life is improved and prolonged as much as possible. The community has the food bank. This serves to provide food to the poor especially the poor and the homeless.

The food pantries are established in various faith-based organizations. The inclusion of the following services can help improve the health and the general wellbeing of the population. These are a faith-based campaign on drugs and substance abuse, cancer awareness center and the random medical screenings by medical centers in the area. Faith-based organizations are good entities in disseminating information and reaching a large population of people, besides faith healing is a strong force in the recovery of addicts as they turn to the Supreme Being when dealing with guilt secondary to withdrawing from a given substance of abuse. Therefore, the inclusion of these entities in the fight against substance abuse is expected to give a fresh impetus and a multidirectional effort that will yield a better outcome (Taubman, 2017).
