The problem of alcohol and alcoholism in the university set up, however, cannot be looked at unilaterally. There are many factors that contribute to alcoholism in the university setting. The earlier statements describe cases where the students who indulge in alcoholism originate from well-off backgrounds, unlike the other case where students emanate from backgrounds. The second group of students gets into alcohol all to find solace for their unwavering problems.
