The use of the social media platforms to advertise and promote their services has made competition to be very high. This means that there is need for various companies to get their employees to work together as a team to ensure that the vision and mission of the company is met. Competent and promising group leaders have to be identified to ensure that they lead the group of employees to aid in motivating, guiding, encouraging, motivating and giving a clear vision to the fellow group members. This will aid in achieving the target of the business (Gabriela 24). A good team leader should poses good and professional qualities. Through the various questions that I have answered I have developed new ideological thinking about my emotional intelligence. As an expected team in the future to offer leadership skills in various companies, I have learnt that it is very vital as leader to understand and learns to controls any emotional feeling that I might be having as (Sadia 42).

Through this assessment I have learnt it is very important that I do not do things in a rush or make decisions hastily without considering the opinions of other team members and ascertain the effectiveness of the decision being taken. The first assessment has helped me learn that I can still work under pressure and still deliver on my duties as a leader. The assessments have aided me learn leadership qualities which will help me deal effectively lead a group of employees in working towards achieving the company’s targets. Negative results might ruin my emotional intelligence as well as my leadership qualities. If the results of the assessment reflected a true picture of my qualities as a well-grounded and professional, which is emotionally intelligent and possesses good leadership qualities, then this will mean that I am a qualified team leader.

If the results of the assessment reflected the real picture, I can have elaborate plans for my career (Whitney 31). At first I would ensure that I observe the highest level of ethical codes. I would ensure that I am very honest in every task and role given to me. I would ensure that I use these leadership qualities in improving the performance of the employees of the company. I would organize the employees and train them on the important time management skills and effective ways of performing better in their different tasks. As a leader I would ensure that I possess good communication skills that will make the running of the company very effective (Sadia 24). As a leader I would ensure that I run guidance and counseling sessions to my employees especially when there is a conflict between the employees.

In decision making process, I would ensure that I consult my team members and the management of the company before arriving into any decision. Concerning emotional intelligence, a good leader ensures that he or she possess good emotional characters. He or she be able to control their emotions and should not allow their emotions to interfere with their functions as team leaders. Emotions should not affect the leadership skills of the team leaders. He or she should learn how to control their feelings to avoid affecting the progress of the team. In the current global market, companies should also ensure that they employ entrepreneurial employees who will ensure that the targets of the company are easily met.
