Ethical issues in education

According to the National Education Association (NEA), educators should always commit their teaching to all students regardless of race, gender, ethnicity or political beliefs (National Education Association). As such, educators are required to grant equal participation to education programs and advantages to all students. For example, I have had issues with handling female and male students during class participation. I always preferred having male students lead group discussions perhaps because I believe females are inferior beings. With time I learnt that this gender inequality led to poor performance in girls. Also, the battles lower my professional standards preventing the effective practice of my profession. To solve this issue, I decided always to talk when it is necessary, professionally and avoiding malicious talks.
