Social change Social change can be defined as the notable change in the patterns of behavior as well as cultural norms and values over time. Positive social change is said to have occurred when the alteration is for the betterment of the individuals and the society at large. Undertaking the research study on evaluating the impact caused by the healthcare delivery systems in the enhancement of treating diabetes among the Native American population will have some certain effects on social change (Creswell, 2009). Some of the positive social changes that will be impacted by this research include; creating a better understanding of diabetes complications, the newly developed diabetes treatment tools such as diabetes calculators, Insulin Delivery Devices, Insulin Patch Pumps among others and the potential ability to aid in diabetes complication reduction.
