First trip to the African continent personal narrative
It also gave me the rare opportunity to learn from them as much as they learn from me. The family had the eldest daughter by the name Shelly who used to walk 2 kilometers thrice a week to fetch water for the family. I was curious to have the first-hand experience of the situation and wanted to know how she felt when going to fetch water for the family. It was a coincidence to the purpose of my trip to Ghana since I came to conduct my research on the topic: To evaluate and assess the impact of water pollution on the health of local children in Ghana and to provide solutions to the problems associated with water pollution. The trip became interesting and fruitful at the same time.
