Failure to manage emotions could be ones undoing more so in their profession, in this regard I recognise my feelings to understand what they are telling me and realise that my emotions could potentially affect the people around me. I believe that working in tandem with other people puts me closer to achieving my professional goals, and just as the article indicates, fostering rapport and trust with colleagues and employees is vital for my professional success. Emotional intelligence promotes success by encouraging teamwork in which I work with other employees effectively if the efforts of achieving a common goal. Ethical decision making is complex as it involves interactions between individual, situational and stress contingent forces. Making moral decisions is dependent on one’s sobriety as this ensures that they are interpersonally sensitive and are not biased.
Similarly, moral behaviours are primarily associated with implicit assumptions. This is to say that positive or negative moral conduct is associated with traditions, capitalistic values and beliefs. Managing implicit assumptions is critical in promoting ethical behaviour.
