He is counterfeit, a performer, double dealing, a backstabber, an opportunist, and a villain. Though, Tartuffe is more of less an implication of unashamedly phony behaviour of Orgon. Orgon admires Tartuffe due to of his flashy exhibition of godliness and humbleness. These are attributes Orgon asserts to value in himself and others while he constantly shows opposing attributes in the course of the story (Moliere, 355) Hypocrisy is something that is so greasy. It is also something which is obvious to some. Although Orgon was stubborn to his family and naive to Tartuffe, Orgon was talented to see the performance and hear the words himself. Orgon was in such incredulity that it had regarded that Tartuffe was going to do away with the family of Orgon.

The King himself alleged that Tartuffe was not being truthful and did not believe in him. In having those views, he detained the belongings from Tartuffe and approved it back to Orgon. Tartuffe has implications to us that though anybody can demonstrate to be a study believer; any person is in position to establish an act to attain personal contentment. Due to his possessions and lifestyle, he has understood to insist that his suggestions and imitation must be correct, and that he is too wise to be deceived. Organ’s individual explanation of the initial time he met Tartuffe is about comical in how clearly Tartuffe was putting on a performance. Tartuffe was “fishing” for a some kind of mark and Orgon was the model fool to take his bait.

At the beginning of the play, Orgon is presented as has fallen under Tartuffe's spell. Previously, as per the spiritual rules, Orgon was "wise and loyal" and, because he encountered Tartuffe at church, its apparent Orgon is a spiritual man. She only notes the mistakes committed by other but not her own. For example, she raises issues that Dorine over talks and yet for her she talks over others nonstop. In the same case, hypocrisy is seen in the condemnation of the life style of the family of Orgon by neighbour Orante just because she has become too old to proceed herself with lifestyle. It is evident that Mademe Pernelle and Orante are not informed of their own hypocrisy (274) Though this story of Mireile appears to be holy and relating to someone who is pious, presumably pious, it should also be understood that it presents a story of a man of great hypocrisy.

Tartuffe aims at telling people what they want to hear, in that case he does behaves as he wishes and what he deems fit to enable him fulfil his personal desire. He tries his level best to scatter everything around him for his selfish gains. That is the major issues with hypocrisy: it makes the truth of everything into question. Tartuffe hypocrisy is sinful and goes against the teaching and doctrines of the Catholic Church. Even though Tartuffe behaves as if he is charisma, charitable, pious and holy, the true of himself is an aspect of greedy, lust, and treacherous (Murnau, F W, Lil Dagover, and Werner Krauss) The kind of hypocrisy he possesses is dangerous and infectious since he disorganises the whole house of Orgon and putting himself in bad limelight which has an influence on the perception among those who believe this pious man.
