They can be influenced by factors such as their society, biological change or peer pressure to make wrong decisions. The unique needs of adolescents’ sexual and reproductive health indicate a need for establishing better approaches to avoid long term-ill health. Special Needs of Adolescents Adolescents have unique needs of reproductive and sexual health. Different strategies and interventions can be utilized to bolster the results of health among young people from ten to 24 years. However, recent research indicates that there deficiency of actions that can be applied across all groups of young people (World Health Organization, 2018). In fact, the majority of these births happen within Low and Middle-income countries. In some places, adolescents lack access to education on sexual and reproductive health as well as contraception.

This makes adolescent girls more vulnerable to unintended and early pregnancies. According to Morris & Rushwan, (2015) adolescents are at a greater risk of pregnancy complications and death in comparison to older women, for instance, the maternal death risk in adolescents within Latin America is four times greater in comparison to that in older women. Some of the complications include STIs and HIV, malaria, anemia, mental disorders like depression and postpartum hemorrhage. However, more can be done to improve the current situation. Developments in vaccines for diseases like HIV, malaria, and TB indicate that there is a bigger potential of using vaccines for therapeutic management of other diseases that are non-communicable like diabetes, HIV, and cancer. However, the introduction of new vaccines faces various challenges such as rising costs of research and innovations.

Investment in vaccinations can save millions of lives in the future. Promotion of Global health through Vaccination Vaccinations have played a critical role in promoting global health. It is expected that the introduction of fresh vaccines targeting killer diseases like cervical cancer, diarrhea, and pneumonia will be utilized to stimulate the expansion of complementary interventions (World Health Organization, 2013). These vaccines will minimize mortality as well as mitigate morbidity with economic returns happening even in countries that have succeeded in bolstering mortality. However, it should be noted that immunization, innovation and vaccines development faces different setbacks including rising costs of development, production, and research. Also, there is a need for enhancing the knowledge and skills of health workers and improving supervision and coordination with the introduction of new vaccines.

Most importantly, governments have to increase their accountability and oversight with an increase in state immunization investments. However, these pesticides also had negative impacts on the environment and other insects and people as well. Elimination of bedbugs from residential places is a tedious task and prevention is a better defense. Resurgence of bedbug population An apparent resurgence of bedbug population across different parts of the world has created attention regarding what could be the cause of this phenomenon. The explosion has been experienced across different parts of the world, for instance, in Australia, it is estimated that the percent increase of bed bug population from 2000 to 2017 reached 5000 (Smiley,2017). In America, the population of bedbugs has also increased due to travelers and immigrants coming from different locations.

Routine spraying of pesticides has reduced due to peoples' awareness regarding their environmental impact. Also, powerful pesticides like DDT that would have been primarily utilized to fight these pests were banned due to their misuse; however, bedbugs had developed resistance to DDT as early as 1946 (Hicks, 2010). On the other hand, Propoxur that has been used as an effective pesticide for eliminating resistant colonies has been categorized as a likely human carcinogen, and the Environmental Protection Agency has not approved its use in hotels or residences (Ab Majid & Zahran, 2015). Recently, pyrethroids have been adopted as a DDT replacement; however, these bedbugs have also exhibited resistance to these chemicals. Clinical Implications One of the concerns about bedbugs is the likelihood of diseases transmission.

The best way to eliminate these pests would be through pretreatment of houses before occupying it. Summary and Conclusion Providing affordable and high-quality services of health care is an increasingly hard challenge. This is because of the complexities of systems and services of health care. Provision of health care services should incorporate other factors affecting the provision of these services like social, cultural or economic factors that affect patients. Additionally, issues such as federal regulations may impact the way that health care services are rendered to the public. Overall I will be able to exhibit flexibility and confidence in my career through the skill-related competence and multidisciplinary knowledge acquired from this course. References Ab Majid, A.
