They mainly focus on the societies that have been greatly affected by these differences and urge everyone to come up with the best way that they can use to solve these differences. There is widespread of the notion that the white people and specifically Americans are prone to intimidating the black people even including those who come to their nearby continents such as Asians. Chinese citizens are not seen to be an exception to this intimidation that the people of color have been receiving from the white people. So as to protect themselves from such intimidation and discrimination, the black people employ different methodologies so as to set themselves free of that. Some of the white people normally use dialogue to solve this with the majority of them using violence to achieve this.

The main idea from this essay is the fighting for self-defense o black people against the white people. Malcolm X has a different view in his work of either ballot or bullet. One of the issues that have been seeing different communities is religion and color. The white people in his work are also known for oppressing the white people. In his work, Malcolm is urging the white people to stop intimidating the black people and live their own life free of such. The two article are also referencing their discussion at the same time when they back in 1964 when America was in a transition from one leadership to another. This gives the two essays to have great similarity between one another despite that they were written at different times and by different authors.
