Additionally, it must be understood that employees greatly rely on managers, and in the event that a manager misinterprets a piece of information, such information will be rendered void or meaningless. Interpersonal communication is important as it helps employees explore whether an organization trusts, respects or values them. It is also linked to leadership potential and enables one to blend in teamwork setups. Interpersonal communication skills are dependent on one’s attitudes, personal attributes or qualities, habits and their social graces (Krizan, 2011).
