What is Truth Essay
A true statement must satisfy the basic requirement of genuineness or an actuality. For a statement to stand out as wrong, it must be an unfounded or inconsistent reality and out of context with the norms of everyday living. For example, if I claim that at a speed of 200km per hour, the torque power of a truck wheel is the same as the torque power of a family wagon car traveling at the same rate of 200km per hour. The above statement is false as it is not correct given the power difference between the two vehicles. Truth is a fact while an opinion is a person’s expression of feelings that cannot be considered as true or false unless substantiated.
