Many claims are arraigned that afford children many advantages; there is a great need to dismiss the myth that these schools give a child a better atmosphere for learning than their counterpart single sex schools. According to the American Psychological Association, they pose statistics that studies have shown that indicate that gender separation among children allows them to excel more (Liben, Lynn, 405). It is salient to suggest that, single sex schools are better as they give the learners a stronger sense of confidence. They can equip the learners with similar tools that assist them to be successful, and they can develop morals that ardently plays a significant role in fostering equality. The world is composed of both the men and women. As a result, the single sex schools give their learners the same tools that they require to be successful.

Coeducational schools have statistics showing that they pose bias in teaching their students; even though the boys are taught what the girls are being taught. This method can afford the students more opportunities coupled with more open doors. Single sex schools are not limited to what the society deems that only one gender is capable of fulfilling. There is another claim that is leveled by coeducational schools that the students feel more comfortable and secure when they are of similar sex. They cannot be able to achieve this without an in-depth level of maturity where everyone is represented across all cadres of daily lives. In training men and women separtely, it is in the best interest of the society as the setting goes beyond the classroom setting. This makes the world to be interconnected where interactions with the opposite sex become inevitable.

In sending the children to single schools, they are filled with many possibilities that go beyond the society’s norms. Thus, it becomes irrational in imprisoning children in coeducational schools it adds up to them creating walls. As the world is a corporate, every individual is supposed to work with people of opposite sex, culture, tradition and family background an experience that is well provided by single sex institutions as they make individuals realize who they are beforehand. Thus, it is essential to state that a student from a single-sex institution can adjust to different social environments much better than a student that comes from co-educational institutions. When boys and girls attend co-educational schools, they are not able to cooperate well. This is because when they were growing up, they have interacted and hence it becomes problematic to work in harmony.

According to research conducted, the students indicated that when they were appointed to do group work they were able to learn to do group work with the opposite sex. It does not mean that the things mentioned above for girls mean that all girls are great at them and boys are better at those things mentioned. It is good to know that it is different for every person. In general, they have a different body shape and thoughts. In case they attend single sex schools they are better placed to understand their differences.
