Cloud computing allows the outsourcing of data storage space, processing power and software itself, and it works by allowing authorized users to access apps and file systems by logging in remotely using any device that can connect to the internet. Anon. In this model of service delivery, users only pay for what they consume, and it is generally moving away from the license-purchasing model. Both the software and the hosting platforms are handled by the service providers, enabling them to be constantly updated to patch any security vulnerabilities and to generate maximum performance. Extra computing power can be easily accessed on the fly in case the business experiences a spike in traffic from interested users. The cloud computing model has mainly revolutionized information technology by greatly enhancing collaboration at work, where multiple users in different locations around the globe can access a shared file. Figure 1: Cloud Computing Models Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) is a cloud computing model whereby a service provider grants access to the operating system, networks, security and servers required to develop applications and services, and also utilized in deployment of databases and development tools. Barry, 2019) IaaS refers to infrastructure that is managed and provisioned via the Internet on demand and in a pay-as-you-go model. The advantages of IaaS include: • The customer’s organization is the one responsible for any upgrades to the software under development. • The customer organization is responsible for maintenance and upgrades of the critical software like databases, tooling and operating systems. • The flexible pricing options provided by IaaS service providers allows the customer organization to only pay for what they need.

Many smaller customer organizations are thus able to run software that they wouldn’t otherwise afford. • If the customer organization wants to develop software for multiple platforms, IaaS is the best option since it will be accessible from mobile devices, laptops, etc. • Cloud elasticity which enables it to scale on demand comes in handy for the seasons where high customer traffic is expected e. g. Christmas shopping season • In most instances, the IaaS service provider is able to provide better security than that which a customer would be able to provide for themselves in-house. This is attributable to the fact that security is a core business of IaaS service providers. • There is no need for a customer to manage the data centre, as this can be handled by the IaaS provider themselves.

• In the IaaS model, there is usually no need for the customer to schedule and manage backups. This is taken care of by the cloud provider. Barry, 2019) The advantages of SaaS include: • The most important benefit to customers that SaaS offers is the ability to have their software customized based on their unique company requirements. • Customers can work from anywhere, anytime. • The SaaS pricing model typically allows the customer to only pay for what they use. • SaaS cloud computing allows the use of multiple platforms by the clients e. g. accounting, medical reports. • If the SaaS service provider goes out of business, there is a high likelihood of the customers also losing valuable data. • SaaS depends on high speed dependable internet, which may be a big problem in developing countries where fulltime connectivity is not achievable.

• It is currently not possible to accurately predict how much it will cost to carry out a SaaS implementation. This unpredictability is due to varying rates for post-sales support. • Through PaaS, geographically distributed teams can collaborate on projects since the development environment is available online. • It is possible to efficiently manage the application lifecycle through the tools afforded by PaaS. These include coding, testing, deploying, managing, updating and scaling the app. Disadvantages of PaaS include: • The customer is responsible for versioning and software upgrades. The site has conducted in-depth analysis of all the major marketplaces in India, and possesses a wide list of various service providers from India, dealing in services like photography, cataloguing, shipping and onboarding.

AWS allows Sellon. in to be able to rapidly scale during periods of heightened traffic such as holiday shopping seasons. This prevents website lag and downtime due to increased user traffic. AWS also provides a customizable environment for the developers of Sellon. in. The developers at Sellon can also build custom models with integrated support for open source frameworks. Second, Sellon can utilize data analytics tools on AWS to analyse their business, customer and transactional data, fast and at low cost. Using big data at Sellon can provide transformative insights into the daily operations of the business. The big data pipeline can enhance POS systems, replenishment and fulfilment models, loyalty programs and customer databases. Third, Sellon can also take advantage of AWS Direct Connect to import data from on-premises, store the data in S3 and Amazon Glacier, and analyse it with the analytics services like SageMaker.
