The company targets online users who have access to the internet and mostly the users can share ideas and life experiences as well as gifts. The site is very popular due to its flexibility to accommodate attractive features that make the users share information and other valuable resources all over the world. The company generates its revenue from hosting plenty of advertisements from various entrepreneurs. The Human Resource department uses some different practices to enhance employees’ satisfaction as well as morale. Creation of a good environment and spacious office rooms is one of the practices commonly available within the organization. Good remuneration curbs the problem of employee turnover and thus the operations of the organization remain uninterrupted. Promotion of employees based on skills and talents will encourage the latter to be innovative and thus make the organization to have a competitive advantage.

Creation of training and development programs offers the opportunities for the employees to sharpen their skills and also increase the knowledge which is essential for making the organization achieve higher levels of production. However, Facebook has some strengths that make the company have a competitive advantage that can mitigate the market risks that have been facing it. The following are the salient benefits: strong brand image, high revenues as well as large customer base. The strong brand image has enabled the company to be the most popular networking site consequently attracting millions of online users.
