The appearance and beauty of the woman strike a feeling of admiration on the young composer. Her works and paintings are as beautiful as her body. Bodies in both poems present attractions and admiration. The characters in both poems can freely express their feelings about themselves bearing positive attitudes about themselves. Interestingly, the setting in both poems presents some similarities. The poem comes in a single paragraph similar to Lucille’s Homage to my hips. However, there is consistency in movement and expression. The characters in both cases display their satisfaction with their bodies and express their feelings freely without fear. Distinct from Lucille’s work, there is a descriptive conversation ensuing between the woman painter and the young composer. The first piece, Homage to my hips, there is only a single character denoting the expression of the hips.
