There is a supposed to be a coexistence between human beings and nature in general. Nature is a general word which consists of wild nature as well. The presence of human beings is very important for their survival. This is a debatable topic because it poses a threat to both human beings and wild animals. Imagine a world where only human beings reside. What this means is that it is the duty of human beings to create an environment where wild nature can survive. While nature can survive on its own, human intervention is of importance because it improves this condition. Most times, it is the human being who can identify where there is a problem with wild nature and correct it.

Wild nature needs the intervention of human beings in several ways. Take for example plants, for their biological survival, they require that human beings exhale carbon dioxide which they need. This is a situation which is not so good for the world today because the wild nature must exist either way. The ones that are still available may not be enough. Without human improvements then the extinct wild nature would just disappear all at once. However, the human intervention which includes scientific findings has made it very easy to have such wild nature existing (Champer, Buchman and Akbari 146). A lot of improvements have been done in medicine to an extent that wild nature cannot go extinct completely. Therefore, early westerners were fundamentally mistaken to say that wild nature is worthless without human improvement.

Therefore, they were wrong to focus on developing their natural resources as quickly as possible, and it is right for us to restrain ourselves from doing so today. The reason as to why they are called wild nature is that they can survive on their own. This means that they do not require any human intervention to survive. Wild nature has their own way of surviving hence human improvements may only make this hard for them. When improvements are being made, it is natural that they will favor human beings more than the way they favor wild nature. Some human improvements such as the development of natural resources may be done in such a way that wild nature does not survive and instead end up dying.

This is because, in most human improvements, a lot of chemicals may be used which may not favor wild nature. Scientific research such as genetics is an example of human improvements that may involve chemical use that might be harmful to the wild life. What happens is that the wild nature that comes into existence after human improvements are not as good as the ones that grow naturally (Descola and Pálsson 14). It is very little that even if it is not there at all then wild nature would still be in existence and it would thrive so much. Developing natural resources as quickly as possible was good for wild nature but it was even better for the early westerners. However, the time has since changed and it is right for us to restrain ourselves from developing natural resources because they should come naturally especially at this point in time (Sanderson et al.

Wild nature can exist without human improvement and this should be respected. Human improvement comes in to make it better. There is the truth that wild nature does not have to depend on the value added to them by human beings but in one way or another, wild nature needs it. It is human beings who have to take care of wild nature when they are not doing fine. Sometimes plants may be attacked by weeds and this may require the intervention of human beings to ensure that the weeds are removed and the plant given an opportunity to grow healthy. Wild animals are sometimes injured to an extent that they cannot heal on their own. This will require the intervention of human beings through their improvements to ensure that injured animals are healed.
