The nursing fraternity has grown to be an important division in the medical field. The importance of nurses in the provision of quality healthcare is one that cannot be overlooked. The contribution of nurses is critical as they interact directly with the patients. Therefore, organizations must strive to ensure that the nurses receive continuous training to enhance their skills and knowledge. Quality improvement in healthcare is critical and thus, involving the nurses should be among the primary agendas to achieve quality services. The different quality improvement projects are often considered and selected on the grounds of how they will be of benefit to the patients. This is inclusive of looking into how much the projects will enhance patient safety.
