Ethical Issues in Biomedical Technology
Document Type:Research Paper
Subject Area:English
When a new technology involving medical advancement has been introduced it can have negative effects that are unintended, or unforeseen to the people in a society (Moffat, 2017, p 1). These negative effects can induce some health issues when not controlled. The people in control and in implementation of these technologies make some assumptions on the impacts it will have in the society. However, there are no appropriate tools to measure these assumptions; therefore, it is wise enough to have measures implemented to control the introduction of new biomedical technologies in the society. This will be done through assessing this technologies to ensure they are human friendly as well as, environmental efficient. The poor might not afford the treatment, therefore, causing either their death or other psychological problems.
