Existence of Angels

There have been painting, images and pictures of angels in various objects such as clothes, T-shirts and also building paintings portraying different types of angels. Besides, the big questions remain, is the existence of angel real or fiction? Furthermore, are angels in physical or spiritual form? According to Christian, sacred scriptures, Holy Bible, angels are beings created by God which possess higher powers and more abilities as compared to human beings. Angels exist in the realm spirit or in heaven, a level which is higher than the real infinity world, (John 6:38; 1 Kings 8:27). Furthermore, the existence of angels has been attempted to be shown in several films, for example, a film released between 1984 and 1989 known as “Highway to Heaven” and “Touched by an angel” film released between 1994 and 2003. Angles existence have often been featured in various accounts especially experiences close to death in human beings.

Another proves that show there has been the existence of angels is the fact some angels are given are given names as if they are human beings. For example in the Bible, there are two commonly angels namely, angel Gabriel and angel Michael. Meanwhile, other angels have been acknowledged in the Bible that their names missed from being mention in the bible, (Luke 1:26; Daniel 12: 1). Another instance which shows the existence of angels is the distinguishing abilities and characters of angels like human beings. Luke, a disciple of God, says that angels have a thinking ability and can make decisions and choose what is right and wrong, (Luke 2:13,14). Some of the people have reported having been cured some of most uncured deadly diseases such as cancer and HIV/AIDs, (Clark, 77). For example, in one of the article, “The gift of the angel feather.

” by Kate O’ Rielly reports that when she was suffering from pneumonia in 1998 angels of God appeared to her. Kate was in the worse health condition ever in life she had experienced whoever one evening she went to a deep sleep around 3:30 AM whereby she was awakened up by the presence of somebody in the room. Kate says at first she thought was another patient whoever when she turned on the other side of bed her eyes met amazing creatures she had never witnessed on earth, two huge bodies with approximately ten feet tall. The superpower abilities of angels are shown in the Islamic sacred scripture, Quran which states “…we send to our angel. he appeared. like a man…” (Quran 19:17). Also, angels are evidenced visiting Abraham, the servant of Allah in the form of the physical body of a human.

Some angels are assigned the roles of protecting God’s people while others are assigned the task of executing laws of God in the physical world. Angel Michael is role is on controlling rain and showing whatever Allah wishes to His people. Other angels perform duties on controlling clouds and winds per the will of God. Hindu believe in the existence of angles such as guardian angels.

According to Hindu, angels are sent by God to help people and protect them. For example, according to Hindu, guardian angels assist people by bringing them together and also bringing everyone closer to all things in the universe. Besides, some Hindu believers go to the extent of worshiping guardian angels. In conclusion, despite there being a critical, controversial argument on the existence of angles, it can be agreed that there is the existence of angels due to prove from various religious beliefs and theories describing the presence of angels. Angels perform duties for example in accordance with Muslim Quran, shows angels have a different work assigned to them which they are supposed to do. Both Christians and Muslims perceive angels as messengers from Gods sent by God to deliver essential messages such as deaths and births and other wishes.
