J. in light of the principles go Catholic Social Teachings. Be specific. Catholic Social Teachings constitutes principles which entail the way people should live in their day to day lives. Fr. John Buck, S. J. insists that with God everything is possible and that Christians should strengthen their faith in Jesus for God is mighty. He contends that if Christians live in the way of the Lord all the evils in the society can end because through God everything is possible and nothing can be hard in God’s power. Through faith in God, Christians can be forgiven, and all the evils of the society stopped. Nevertheless, solidarity views interdependence as something right and that should be cherished. The quote from acts of apostle encourages believers to be of one family.

Luke encourages believers to live in solidarity with the disabled and poor and share their earthly belongings indiscriminately. He further teaches that we have a heart and mind in common and therefore we should not let fellow human beings undergo suffering. Jesus shared his glory of resurrection with the disciples before He ascended to heaven. They should treat each other as brothers and sisters rather than neighbors. They should be willing to share food, shelter and even clothing. When such togetherness, solidarity, and love thrives, it is indisputable that lasting peace will reign supreme. The pope was pointing out that the rise in war and war-related crimes all over the world was due to lack of solidarity among humans. He encouraged the world to join hands together to achieve peace.

Christians should also call for national dialogue on the issue of poverty. Through their leaders, they should push the government into submitting to poverty as a threat to national security. It is unacceptable for a member of a society to be looked down upon because of their financial constraints The quote suggests that we do not have to pity the poor and a lot of injustice had been subjected to them but instead help them to be equal to any member of society. God signed a covenant with Israelites because they were poor and treated improperly. He chose them as his nation and blessed them and generations to come. How does the film relate to our course, “Faith Justice and Catholic Tradition”.

Explain. "Of Gods and Men. ” Movie entails the story of eight monks in the year 1996 at the Cistercian Monastery in Algeria leading lives of contemplation and community, love and discipline, meditation and action. The take part in several duties in the society such as making and selling honey to the nearby town, cooking and loading firewood in the monastery. They treat the neighboring Muslims the same as they treat Christians. The monks believe in love for all the people, and they say that love endures everything “We’re martyrs out of love, out of fidelity. ” Relevance and witness of the monks is the impact which they bring the Tibhirine community until the leaders of the community urging them to stay and continue serving the people.

The leaders of the community identify the monks as helpful in the community and that they should not live. The film relates to our course “Faith Justice and Catholic Tradition” in many ways. Moreover, the principal of Common good has told me the importance of doing well to others and reconciliation with others. The course has illustrated the principle of taking care of God’s creation by ensuring that we do well to everyone as per the scriptures. As a Christian, have learned that faith makes one stronger and able to face any problem and solve it without resistance. Similarly, have also learned the importance of offering justice to all without discrimination. I have determined that all people in the society must ensure that righteousness is fulfilled to all members of the community more so the vulnerable groups who are mostly mistreated.
