Some of these economic changes have been identified by Mark Shenk, a professor at University of Missouri as high education levels of people, more employment opportunities and the fatc that people have shifted from agriculture and improved their living standards. The change comes around Church Street, Park Road and Queens square because this is where the town centre is and the town centre is made up of shops and stores. This lies in the heart of the map and is surrounded by the residential areas that I just mentioned. Also at the end of the A4601 heading south on the map there is a superstore, a typical feature of a store trying to be more accessible to residents being closer to the residential areas. The A34 (shown in red) and the A4601 as well as the ringway are key components to for the movement of traffic; this takes quite a big section of this scale of the OS map and runs through the heart of Cannock becoming congested at peak traffic times.

1 children for every woman. Other countries have reported a rapid increase in population like Nigeria. It is estimated that the average rate of birth for every woman in Nigeria is 5. Mark Montgomery, a professor and researcher at Population council, the most powerful tools in controlling the growth of population is education. Research has revealed a fall in the fertility rates in developing countries with an increase in education. A population that is well educated results in lower rates of birth (Murray). According to research, any projection of future population either for a country of regions that does not include education in their analysis is biased. The incorporation of education when projecting future population growth is an indication that human quality had been added which helps to project fertility rates, migration and mortality.

Many educated women have dedicated most of their time for their career and may find giving birth to many kids as a hindrance to give birth to more children. Some get married at an older age than the educated because they spent their younger years learning. In return, they give birth at older age and may not give birth to many children. There is a positive relationship between the use of contraception and education. Research shows that education has an impact on the decisions women make regarding the use of contraception and fertility choices. 0 Social economic factors Research has revealed that the number of children that a couple gives birth to is determined by the ability to sire kids and the desired number of kids.

Many economists have focused on the contribution that children make to the income or welfare of the family. In low-income families, children assist in handling family responsibilities at a very young age. Small children are found handling house chores and other children. As the income of parents increases, they lower the number of children they would want to have. On the other hand, women living in the urban centres have access to such medical services which helps them to have the number of children that they desire. CHAPTER 3 METHODOLOGY According to Saunders, Lewis and Thornhill, research involves the process where the researchers collects data and analyses it to gain insight about a particular topic of discussion. The aims of having a research methodology are to gain access to data that is accurate and is not biased.

1 Research design The research design refers to the overall methodology that will be used by the researcher to conduct a study. The researcher uses it to be able to address the research problem (Olakunari, 20). The internet was also used to collect information such as the cost of housing and census taken in 2011 to identify whether the population is increasing in the region or not. 3 Instruments of data collection The main instrument of data collection was the use of questionnaires administered to the sample selected for the study. From these results I will be able to compare the two data sets to see if there is a correlation between the price of houses, the number of houses being sold in a particular area and the reasons that people are selling their homes for as well as taking into account their age to see if that has any bearing on the results. Will ensure that these questionnaires are optional and non-confrontational because the subject area could be sensitive to the individual as well as taking care with the questions asked in the first place. In terms of a risk assessment I will make sure to hand out these questionnaires during the day time, this is because it is safer than doing it at night when less people are around.
